What beginners get wrong in Spanish
Learning the noun without el or la
Gender belongs to the word, so every sheet prints the article: el pez, la mano. A pupil who learns pez alone has to look the gender up later.
Forgetting the accent
An accent can change the word: papá is dad, papa is potato. Word searches and crosswords keep accented letters in the grid so the accent is part of finding the word.
Capital letters on days and months
Spanish writes lunes and enero in lower case. The sheets print them that way, and months without an article, as Spanish uses them.
