Up to 40 cards on 3 by 3, 4 by 4 or 5 by 5 grids, with a free centre square on 5 by 5. Where a list is short, cards share words in a different order and the caller sheet says to play for a line.
Two ways to call
Listening practice: cards show the words and you call the English. Speaking and listening in the language: cards show English or pictures and you call the word in the language.
The caller cards
The key is a page of caller cards to cut out and draw from a bag, each with the word and its English meaning.
