Word search, bingo, crossword, matching or flashcards, with a separate answer key.
Spanish: los padres, los hermanos
Los padres means parents (father and mother); los hermanos means brothers, or brothers and sisters.
Possessives are used freely with family: mi madre, tus abuelos.
French: les parents, les grands-parents
Les parents means parents, and also relatives in general.
Compound plurals: le grand-père, les grands-pères; la grand-mère, les grands-mères.
In the classroom
A family tree sheet with the words to place is the classic task; matching and write-the-word work well before it.
